Enrolments and Transfers for 2022
All enrolments and transfers will be taken via the ACT ED online enrolment form. We welcome enrolments and transfers from families who are moving into Kaleen, Bruce and Lawson. All other enrolment applications are considered in line with the ACT Education Directorate's enrolment policy. Enrolments for preschool 2021 opened on Tuesday 29 April at 9.00am. At Maribyrnong we like to get to know each of our families, as such we do not hold an open day. Offers of enrolment which were received within the first application round for the 2020 school year were sent out on Monday 29 July at 8.30am in line with our Directorate's timeline. These offers were sent to the email address used is the one applicants registered with the online enrolment form. If you have not received this email, please call the front office.
Please note: If your child is attending Maribyrnong preschool this year (2020) you do not need to complete an enrolment form for kindergarten 2020 as you will be automatically enrolled into Maribyrnong Primary.
Transition to Kindergarten
To assist with preparing your child's transition to kindergarten, we encourage you to take a moment to watch the following video, you may wish to do this with your child. This will help them to get a deeper understanding of what kindergarten can look like at Maribyrnong. You may wish to pause the video and discuss particular aspects with them, for example, what their school bag or lunch box will look like.
